Cheapweed.ca- missing product

Hello all,

This post is not bashing or putting down cheapweed or tony. They are an amazing company and I have been extremely happy with every order and I have never had an issue till now. The product is absolutely amazing and you won't get the quality for the prices anywhere else. This post is just me looking for some guidance as I am not sure what to do I am new to the mom community as of last year.

New to the community and excited to get involved ! I have been ordering from cheapweed.ca since around august. I love every minute of it !! All the product is amazing and you always know your getting your moneys worth. I am never worried about what I am getting when I order from Tony. I order every couple weeks. Run a small dispensary with roughly 15-20 customers and growing all the time ! (Small city) Everyone is in love with the product that I can supply them with for decent prices. Where I am from if you wanted some decent stuff it was gonna cost you. I never had any issues with any of my orders other then a couple during the strike that were taking a while.

But my last two orders have been a bit stressful on my end. Two weeks ago I ordered my usual OZ selection. I ordered 9 and also I am growing so every order gonna add in full LBs. I ordered 2lbs and 9ozs. Recieved my package and was missing my ounce of Kush Bomb :( and also my boveda packs for the lbs. I emailed back and within twelve hours got a response and they gave me a credit for $130 which was awesome. It was a super fast response and i wasnt sure what to expect because its a hard thing to prove on my end. Just ordered again and recieved my package yesterday (Monday). I inspect the box before opening and then opened the box with two sealed bags inside. One bag was my full 1lb of purple haze(WOW amazing product). The other bag was my OZ bag which I ordered 11 this time. I opened the bag and counted 8 bags and my boveda packs. I emailed right away and let them know the three strains I was missing ( blue magoo, god kush, tonys ice wreck). I went about my usual routine and weighed and bagged the order I recieved. I received a reply directly from Tony this time. He asked if I could double check the package. I informed him that there was for sure 3 missing bags.

Im so unsure how to proceed........he says hes going to look into it further. I love everything about CW and Tony. I hate how this has happened and do not want this effecting my other orders with them. I do not want to find someone or somewhere else. I just want whats mine if that makes sense. But even if he doesnt provide me with it I understand where hes coming from because we have never met sorta my word against who packaged my order..... How should I proceed with my future orders? Videotape opening the package? Any feedback helps thanks

Absolutely record video from start to finish of your package opening right through weight checks for every order. It's the only way you have a leg to stand on if something goes wrong. If everything checks out, simply delete the video.

Thanks everyone. Ya I am feeling pretty stressed about the situation. Also stupid for not recording to begin with but it has just never been an issue. So it honestly never crossed my mind to do it. I just started recently ordering more as well so its just an unfortunate set back. But I will defenitly start recording every package opening from now on just for the peace of mind if anything is wrong.

I think he's mentioned to me he has cameras in the packaging room after something was missing in an order of mine. It took a couple of days after he said he would check but eventually he made it right. I'm sure they do anything they can to avoid any he-said she-said disputes when they're able to like for something like this.

It sucks it happens in the first place but it's better to happen with him than someone less forgiving/trusting. Use this as a learning experience to start filming or doing something to protect yourself. Hopefully this isn't an expensive lesson.

Yes he said he had cameras in one email then said he was gonna look into it in the next. Mistakes happen I understand. I hope things do get made right but I understand the situation.

Ya i wasnt sure if there was any other ways people were checking or taking safety precautions before and after opening there package. It is unfortunate as I just started getting bigger so bit of a set back. But yes a learning experience for sure.

Ya I think so he just told me he hasn't finished checking his footage. So hopefully all is well soon. Thanks I appreciate the response. Lesson learned and anyone reading this shit can happen so always take extra precaution and record lol

So as expected Tony messaged and refunded me the money plus I would say a bit extra....didnt take long at all and like usual amazing customer service from Cheapweed.ca. Would reccomend them for anyone. 👍 always 5 star service and always fast delivery recieve my package tops 2-3 days in ontario.
